KUALA LUMPUR – With Ramadan ending soon, the Wariscan team recently launched a Hari Raya campaign featuring a Virtual Reality Hari Raya greeting! The greetings were sent via emails to all subscribers of the Wariscan Newsletter and to all Wariscan’s key partners and clients.
The latest innovation was made available to the public via a custom link to Wariscan website. The VR Hari Raya greeting card can be viewed via a browser and does not require viewers to install new mobile applications.
Wariscan co-founder, Hilman Nordin said that they are looking for something different from the usual E-cards shared via social media platform that has been the norm these past years.
“We are looking to make something different this time around. There’s already AR and Hologram Raya Card in the market, so we wanted to show that we can do something with VR too. With VR now easily made available to many, we know that it is time to do something”.
Users can choose to experience the VR environment by moving their phone, scrolling the environment with their fingers/mouse, or decide to use the VR mode in their Android phones where they can experience the VR with a VR headset
“Interactivity is one of the factors that play the major role in the launch. Using Android device, users are able to move their phone around to look at the virtual reality environment and locate points of interest in the environment”
The VR greeting card is also meant to expose to the general public that the power of VR is now available within their reach.
“We look forward to more conversations on AR and VR from the general public. This will show them what’s possible now, and invite them to imagine what’s more to come in the future”.
